  • EAHS announces Mini-THON and Community Hours Light of Hope Ceremony

    Elizabethtown Area High School is pleased to announce it will hold its sixth annual student-run Four Diamonds Mini-THON on Friday Mar. 10 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next morning. Mini-THON is a twelve-hour event patterned after Penn State’s THON in which approximately 320 high school student dancers will remain on their feet for the entire twelve hours.

  • EAHS students win regional STEM competition

    A team of students from Elizabethtown Area High School recently won first place in the PA Governor’s STEM Competition. The gold-medal winning team was comprised of seniors Madison Ebersole, Solomon Heisey, Simon Munyan, Aparna Paul, and Kaitlyn Welch.

  • Local leaders to take part in charity basketball game for Camp Ladybug

    The Elizabethtown Area School District and GEARS are teaming up to support Camp Ladybug, a camp for individuals who have mental and/or physical challenges. Now in its fifth year, the charity game has netted over $6,000 for local programs.

  • E-town Third Grader to be Published as Part of Newspaper In Education Contest

    Congratulations to Mill Road Elementary School third grader Chasmina Mendoza for winning first place in Lancaster Newspaper’s Design an Ad contest. Her ad will be featured in Lancaster Newspapers 2017 Newspaper In Education week issue.

  • Five EAHS Students Take Part In District Orchestra Festival

    Elizabethtown Area High School orchestra students Samuel Becker, Sean Brown, Mayelin Ebersole, Solomon Heisey, and Ethan Schneider recently joined over 100 other talented local student-musicians to form the 2017 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Orchestra ensemble.

  • Bainbridge and Mill Road Elementary Schools hold “Souper Bowls”

    Bainbridge and Mill Road Elementary Schools recently held their annual "Souper Bowl" food drives to benefit the local food bank. The food drives are timed to coincide each year with National Football League’s Super Bowl and helps to restock the shelves of the local food pantry after the holiday season.

    Bainbridge Elementary School second graders recently took to the runway for their very own fashion show where they modeled for family, friends, and schoolmates outfits they made from recycled materials.

  • E-town High School FFA Member Earns Keystone Degree

    At this year’s Pennsylvania Farm Show, Elizabethtown Area High School senior Taylor Halbleib was presented with Keystone FFA Degree. The Keystone FFA Degree is the highest award given by the Pennsylvania FFA Association. It is presented to FFA Members within the Commonwealth who have shown outstanding achievement within FFA (Future Farmers of America).

  • EAMS Announces Second Marking Period Honor Roll

    Dr. Nate Frank, principal of Elizabethtown Area Middle School, and Michael Pericci, assistant principal of Elizabethtown Area Middle School, announced the honor roll for the second marking period of the 2016-2017 school year. For students to achieve honor roll they are required to attain a 92% average overall with no grade lower than 83% in any subject area.

  • EAHS Announces Second Marking Period Honor Roll

    Elizabethtown Area High School principal Maura Hobson, assistant principal Robert Crick, and assistant principal Dr. Lyn Shaffer have announced the honor roll for the second marking period of the 2016-2017 school year. For students to achieve honor roll they are required to attain a minimum non-weighted grade point average (GPA) of 94% with no grade lower than 85%.

  • EAMS students take part in local Band Fest

    Nine Elizabethtown Area Middle School band students recently took part in the 2017 Lebanon Valley College Middle School band festival. The students, all seveth graders, were selected based on their teacher’s recommendation for demonstrating outstanding musicianship.

  • Elizabethtown Area Middle School students participate in Future City competition

    Sixteen students from Elizabethtown Area Middle School recently took part in the 2017 Future City Competition in mid-January. This project-based learning program challenged students to imagine what a city should and could look like to make their future a better place.

  • EAHS students win at local SkillsUSA competition

    A team of students from Elizabethtown Area High School placed first in the Health Care Program category of the Lancaster County Career and Technical Center’s Skills USA State Competition. The award-winning students are seniors Emma Leaman, Mallory Gish, Morgan Walters, and Jacey Kauffman.
