  • Bear Creek Students To Participate In Cubes In Space

    Two students from the Bear Creek School School will be participating in the Cubes in Space 2017 program. Cubes in Space, a program by idoodledu inc., in collaboration with NASA’s Langley Research Center, NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility and Colorado Space Grant Consortium, offers global design competitions for students 11-18 years of age to develop STEAM-based experiments for launch into space.

  • Local education foundation receives check from Masonic Village at Elizabethtown

    The Masonic Village at Elizabethtown recently presented a check for $15,000 to the Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation to benefit the foundation’s educational classroom grant program. Over the past eighth years, the Masonic Village has gifted the foundation $135,000 for its grant program.

  • EAHS Holds Commencement Program for the Class of 2017

    Congratulations to Elizabethtown Area High School’s Class of 2017. Amidst much fanfare, the 289 graduating seniors, clad in the traditional blue robes, walked across the stage to receive their diplomas during this year’s commencement program held on June 7.

  • Elizabethtown Area Students Win Big At Math 24 Challenge Competition

    Elizabethtown Area School District students recently exceled at the regional Math 24 Challenge held in Lancaster. In a highly competitive environment that featured some of the areas best young mathematicians, fourteen out of the sixteen students from Elizabethtown were table winners at their respective grade levels with seven placing in the top 16 in their division.

  • EAHS June students of the month named

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Molly Hill and Dean McBride were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for June. Hill and McBride were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

  • Elizabethtown Area High School seniors honored at awards banquet

    Elizabethtown Area High School held its annual senior awards banquet for the Class of 2017 on Wednesday, May 24 at Elizabethtown Area High School. At the ceremony, 77 members of the senior class were honored with 70 scholarships and awards.

  • EAHS Puts the Books Aside to Perform School-wide Community Service Projects

    On Friday, May 26, the students, faculty, administration, and staff of Elizabethtown Area High School left their classrooms and put their books and computers aside to perform a multitude of community service activities in their school and in the community.

  • EAHS Students To Participate In NASA's 'Cubes In Space'

    Five students from Elizabethtown Area High School will be participating in NASA’s Cubes in Space 2017 program. Cubes in Space is a STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) competition that encourages students ages 11-18 to submit experiments for launch into space.

  • Elementary band concert May 25

    The Bear Creek School band will take to the stage on Thursday, May 25 to present its annual spring concert. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bear Creek School and is free and open to the public.

    Students at East High Street Elementary School took part in Vehicle Day, an interactive activity designed to expose students to possible careers that make use of a vehicle.

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Kyra Buettner and Conor Larison were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for May. Buettner and Larison were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

    Fifth graders at the Bear Creek School took part in the school’s annual Colonial Day on May 12. This unique program was the culminating exercise for the social studies unit on Colonial America

  • EAHS Orchestra to perform May 15

    Join the high school and middle school orchestras on Monday, May 15 as the ensembles present their annual spring concert. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Area High School auditorium and is free and open to the public.
